Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Sacramento, CA)

Stonegate Birch Farms is an agricultural business based around Sacramento, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
