Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Junction Manufacturing Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
