Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Wren Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Sacramento region. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
