Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Amber Auto Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to vehicle inspections at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support vehicle inspections. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
