Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Rowan Foods produces packaged foods at its Richmond plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
