Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Timber Construction and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to safety records at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
