Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Reno, NV)

Harborlight Basin Foods is a Reno food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
