Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Redstone Ashton Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Hartford. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
