Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Northwind Lakeside Farms is an agricultural business based around Sacramento. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
