Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Harborlight Meadow Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Chicago, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
