Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Redstone Hollow Foods produces packaged foods at its Detroit plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
