Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Greenridge Cobalt Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Philadelphia plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
