Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Lakeside Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 858 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
