Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Silverline Meadow Manufacturing Partners makes precision components in Detroit, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
