Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Maple Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Des Moines, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
