Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Ironwood Ashton Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Phoenix plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
