Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Bluepeak Stone Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Madison. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 621 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to packing house output at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
