Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Ironwood Wren Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
