Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Bright Wren Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Houston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
