Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Ashton Hospitality is a hospitality company in Des Moines with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to group events at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support group events. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
