Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Fernwood Ivory Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
