Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Cedar Meridian Health is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to patient scheduling at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support patient scheduling. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
