Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Stonegate Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Houston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
