Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Meadow Press Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
