Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Wilder Early Learning Partners operates neighbourhood childcare around New Orleans, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
