Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Silverline Linden Foods is a Louisville food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
