Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sable Markets and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
