Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Northwind Maple Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Madison plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 80 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
