Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Fernwood Ashton Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Antonio, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to contractor visits at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support contractor visits. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
