Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Silverline Cedar Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Wichita, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
