Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Harborlight Ridge Early Learning runs childcare centres in Hartford caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
