Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Nova Field Markets is a Pittsburgh retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
