Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Summit Pike Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
