Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Ironwood Vale Manufacturing is a Sacramento manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 226 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
