Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Summit Nest Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Richmond. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
