Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Nest Manufacturing and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
