Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Maple Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Tucson. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
