Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Redstone Orchard Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 943 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
