Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Northwind Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 966 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
