Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Union Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Cleveland, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
