Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Fernwood Bright Manufacturing is a Orlando manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
