Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Bright Junction Housing Partners is a nonprofit housing provider in Detroit, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to resident services at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support resident services. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
