Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Fernwood Loom Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in San Diego caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
