Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Northwind Birch Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
