Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Sparrow Farms is an agricultural business based around Raleigh, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
