Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Amber Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Raleigh region. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 715 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Keep stock linked to safety records at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
