Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Providence, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in Providence. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
