Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Rowan Foods and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
