Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Summit Manufacturing is a Providence manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
