Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Corner Press is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proofing at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proofing. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
